Bannerghatta National Park is lcoated around 22 kms south of Bangalore. Regular buses ply from the Central Bus Depot to Bannerghatta Park
The country's first Butterfly Park was set up at the Bannerghatta Biological Park and inaugurated in November 2006.
The Butterfly Park is spread across 7.5 acres of land comprising of a butterfly conservatory, museum and an audio-visual room.
The park looks well maintained. They conduct Lion and Tiger Safari, Bear Safari and Herbivore Safari too.
There is a canteen inside the park. And a hotel/resort outside.
Visiting hours: 9am to 5pm
Holiday: Closed every Tuesday
